POROSIL

Light Weight Insulating Aggregate For
Using as a LOOSE FILL IN HOLLOW
BLOCK WALL/CAVITY WALL
and
LOOSE FILL OVER SUSPENDED/
FALSE CEILING

THE PRODUCT :

POROSIL is a Light Weight Aggregate which confirms to ASTM standard For Light Weight Insulating Aggregate.

Basic Properties of POROSIL :

K Value          :  0.06 W/MK
R Value          :  2.4 per inch thickness
Bulk Density   :  Max. 175 kg per cubic meter

Salient Features of POROSIL :

  • 100% inorganic and Asbestos free.
It will not rot, emit odours or attract vermin.
  • Light in weight and easy to handle.
  • POROSIL is the only insulating material which is Non-toxic and non-flammable at the time of fire.
  • Reduces unwanted heat flow making living comfortable.
  • Reduces the Air Conditioning Power Consumption upto 20 to 30%.

Application Methods :
Loose Filling in Hollow Block Wall/Cavity Wall
POROSIL Light Weight Aggregate has to be poured from the bag into the cavity of concrete block wall directly. Pours may be made at any convenient interval, but the height of any pour shall not exceed 15-20 feet. Rodding or tamping is not necessary.
POROSIL light weight aggregate when poured into cores of cavity walls/hollow block construction makes single component uniform, non-settling insulating barrier against the transmission of heat and sound.
